Doc Titanium has been making outrageous and unacceptable jokes both in his laboratory, clinic, and now on stage headlining a Halloween show at Stella Blues bringing his “house of horrors” to the Maui. “The Doc” is known for his irreverent, wild humor that is edgy and adult themed. His material ranges from stories about raising a family, to jokes about taboo subjects like religion and sex.
The Doc has M.C.’d for local non-profit fundraisers. He has also opened for well known comedians such as Chino LaForge, Don Barnhart and The Greg Wilson. He is never for a loss of words and can leave the crowd laughing or gasping from his twisted material. He has also hosted the weekly open mic at Stella Blue, roasted his fellow comedians, and performed in large monthly shows on the island of Maui. Never one to ask for an apology for his awesomeness and good looks, he does question the morality of those that find his sometimes awful sense of humor perfectly normal.
The show will be hosted by Jose Solorzano and will feature Sunny Dennis, Chino LaForge and comedy newcomer Becky Doughty.

Headlining the event will of course be the aforementioned Curtis “Chino” LaForge. Chino is not only the most recognizable comic on Maui but all over Hawaii his stand up shows are legendary. These performances include work with the likes of William Shatner, Paul Rodriguez, Roseanne Barr, Tom Arnold, Hal Sparks, Whitney Cummings, Chris Dʼelia, Melinda Hill, Aziz Ansari, and more. Earlier this year Chino toured the Hawaiian islands as part of the “Entirely Too Much Information Tour” with the infamous Steve-O from MTVʼs Jackass. As the founder of Power Up Comedy, he has participated in producing some of the most celebrated comedy shows in Hawaii.
For the past 5 years, Chino has been blessing stages all around the island, and setting the ground work for the beginnings of what is now Power Up Comedy. When being talked about, one word comes to mind when attempting to describe him… Versatile. With on stage experience in theater, improv, music (Guitar, Bass, and Drums), spoken word, freestyle hip-hop, combat, and stand up; this comedian can truly do anything. From humble beginnings of open mic stages and scattered birthday parties to a much more dynamic variety of performing opportunities; Chino is ready to entertain which ever audiences are willing to sit across from him…
Hosting the show will be Maui’s own Sunny Dennis. Originally from the Big Island Sunny Dennis has been electrifying the stage with his energetic and irreverent stand up comedy for almost 3 years on Maui. He is also an all-star member of Power Up Comedy, and has been a headliner for Power Up Comedy’s large monthly shows as well as hosted many open mic nights. Sunny has also featured and opened for Tom Arnold, Tom Green, Rob Schneider. He has also worked with local favorites Bula’ia and Augie T as well as many other comedians. Sunny is a very edgy comic and pushes the envelope while practicing topical humor about anything from politics to alligator rape.
Also performing will be Doug Wyckoff and Teresa Sickels for the PG-13 8:00PM show. Jason Strahn and Doc Titanium will be performing for the Adult rated “R” version at 10:00PM.
